The Bowmen of Chesterfield (BOC) is a small friendly club
which was formed in 1981, 2008 marks our 27th
year.
Our primary shooting ground is located at the Chesterfield
Cylinders Sports Ground off the main Hasland
Road in Chesterfield. During the summer season (after 1st April) club nights are Monday and
Thursday. In the winter season (starting 1st October) we
shoot indoors on Mondays from 7pm. Currently
we are shooting outdoors at the cylinders sports ground.s

We shoot outdoors all through the summer and take
part in the Derbyshire Archery League as well as a
number of local competitions. We organise
"Archery Evenings", "have-a-go
events" and "beginners classes" during
the summer season. During the winter we shoot
indoors at the Speedwell
Rooms, Staveley.

The BOC AGM will take place on Wednesday 20 August 2008 at 7:00pm
at the New Inn (near Hasland).
