Archery Evenings - "have a go"
Having read the information about "archery", you may wish to get
your "hands on" a bow and see how you like shooting.

BOC attends shows and events from time to time and puts on "have a
go" features so that members of the public can shoot a recurve training
bow at a target placed 10m away from a shooting line. Alternatively, if
can assemble a group of ten or more, we may be able to arrange your own
"have a go" event... think of it for your next birthday party of
company outing! |
We can organise events for your club, workmates or friends. Your group will need to be a minimum of
8 people of any ability, agility or age
group from 8 to 80 ish!
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All equipment and tuition is provided including protective equipment.
These events are held outdoors and are being planned on-going.
Always a popular event for Sports and Social clubs and can be used as a team building exercise for corporate customers. Cost is
£8 per person (£5 for juniors) including refreshments and a certificate. A deposit of
£20 will be required which is
non-refundable.
Time of events is usually 19.00 to 21.00 on weekdays or during the day on
Saturdays but is flexible weather permitting. Many of our participating
groups come back year after year, it's something everyone can enjoy! Generally
we need one month notice to ensure sufficient
club members and facilities are available.
The "have-a-go" calendar for 2008 is now
full, no more bookings are being taken at this time.
Applications for a have-a-go event start from March
each year, a form will be presented below for this purpose... no form means
applications are not currently being accepted.
